While many of you will be celebrating the birth of our nation…this weekend is about the birth of someone truly special: My Wife! I am always amazed at the fanfare she gets; fireworks, sparklers, parades, cookouts, a federal holiday…LOL!
I also wanted to highlight additional memorable births and deaths on 7/2. Medgar Evers, civil rights activist was born on this day in 1925. Ernest Hemingway and Nostradamus both died on 7/2, in 1961 and 1556, respectively.
If you have never read Herman Hesse, please find time to. His works dives deep into an individual’s self-exploration on topics such as spirituality, authenticity, and in such a way that is so accessible.
Also, the riddle is not nearly as difficult as it seems. Take a stab, you never know what it might ignite!
May you be well, may you be at peace, may you be happy, healthy, and safe this holiday weekend.
Mahalo Nui,
Matthew
